1. What are the books about?
This character-driven, epic-fantasy series focuses mainly on the adventures of Quondam Anon, a boy who gains the power to shift to any age at will, and Aori Timister, who can squeeze extra minutes or hours into every day. The manipulative time god Toki bestowed the abilities upon them, but their best intentions lead them in very different directions. Quondam sees himself as the once and future hero, while the world casts Aori in the role of the villain.

2. Where and when do the books take place?
The first book takes place on Aia, a planet similar to, but far away from, Earth. History and the advancement of technology unfolded a bit differently on Aia, but the time period could be compared to Earth's Medieval Period. Aori ushered in a Renaissance, Age of Reason, and an Industrial Revolution all in the span of about a year. Later books in the series take place on Earth, beginning with Biblical times and Roman Empire (The Temporal Trinity), 13th Century China (Quondam et Futurus), and later times and places to be revealed in later books.

4. Are the books appropriate for children?
The author is an elementary school teacher, so it was important throughout the writing and editing process to ensure that students could read the books. While there are some heavier topics, such as death, suicide, and about as much violence as in a PG movie. It's set in a fantasy world, so there are swords, arrows, and other weapons. If you have a 10-year-old or older, it'd be similar to the other books he or she is reading.

5. Is this a Christian book?
The author is a church-going Christian and a strong believer, but this series begins on another world, with its own set of gods and goddesses. The god of Time plays a large role in the inner-workings of the story, but it's obviously not the author's intent to convert anyone to a made-up god's religion. In the real world, we believe there is one true God. However, this is a work of fiction through and through, and religion is just part of the historical background for the story.
